It started with two dads and a library.
Every story has a beginning — ours started with our families. Temi and Chase met through their wives, two families whose kids go to the same school. They clicked instantly over a shared itch to build something that mattered, and turned casual dinners into weekly whiteboard sessions in libraries around town.
Then came a family road trip to Chicago. Charging the EV the next day, Temi watched the backseat mess from the drive pile up — nowhere to clean it, nothing to do, and 25 minutes ticking by. The charge was free time going to waste. At their next meeting, the idea landed: make charging downtime genuinely useful. SWYCH Box was born.
Two dads, one school, wives who saw the spark first.
Library sessions, marker on glass, ideas taking shape.
25 idle minutes at the plug — the problem, made obvious.
