Origin Story
The story of SWYCH Box begins with founders Temitope and Chase. They met through their wives and quickly discovered a shared passion for entrepreneurship, leading them to brainstorm ideas weekly. Temi, an EV owner since summer 2023, experienced frustration with the lack of amenities and wasted time at DC fast charging stations. The breakthrough moment came after a family trip to Chicago when he realized the inconvenience of not having cleaning supplies available while charging his car. This personal frustration sparked the birth of the SWYCH Box: a self-service kiosk designed to make EV charging downtime productive and convenient. Their shared vision is to revolutionize the EV charging experience by transforming downtime into productive time.
